I really didn't "get" Lady Gaga and still mostly don't. However, I saw an interview of her during which she was explaining why her performing persona was so off the wall and she said something like it was because she was exposing the dorkiest, embarrassing, odd things that she is most insecure about regarding herself to try to convey the message to people, especially young people, that they're ok as they are. That even the weirdest, most awkward parts of themselves that other people don't get are ok and they should believe in themselves. Now, maybe that's just marketing hype or playing up to her market but I thought it was a nice message.

I love weird, but if the bit I heard of 'her' stuff today is an indication, it's total hype with no musical merit, but the int. clip Adri posted sounded OK.
Maybe she'll become a Sister Theresa in time.

The whole tranny thing started off a blog posting some grainy vid of her alleged schlong popping out of her panties. Video was just grainy as hell, and you really can't see anything.

Not having seen or heard anything from 'her', what is outrageous about LGG except for her early 70s era Bowie/Peter Gabriel-ish costumes?
I grew up loving outrageous performance when it truly was outrageous and still would be today if anyone had the eggs, just curious what constitutes this label these day's.

And, I'd not heard anything about the tranny stuff til now.
