Re: HT's Photo Sharing Thread - Chapter 6
cool. without seeing your multiple shots, it's not clear how effective it was; of course, you don't have to post all of those pics but would you tell us whether the composite is way better than any single shot you took?525,600 minutes, 525,000 moments so dear. 525,600 minutes - how do you measure, measure a year?

Not to take away from your HDR work, but unless these pictures were side by side, it's hard to tell that any HRD work was done. I'm no HDR expert, but maybe wider bracketing might produce more dramatic results.

I while back I posted a picture of the weather station on Mt. Ka'ala taken from with my iphone through my telescope eyepiece from my house. I said I'd take another one when I got a camera I could hook up straight to my telescope. Well, here's a better picture that I took this morning with my new camera using my telescope as a very long (>3000mm) telephoto lens. I still was not early enough at 0610 to get a really good shot. What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof. – Christopher Hitchens

Re: HT's Photo Sharing Thread - Chapter 6
While NO WHERE near as picturesque as the beautiful Isle of Hawai'i, I FINALLY manged to get some time on the water. Every year, our company organizes a fishing trip on the Chesapeake Bay. I went last year, so I decided to give my "spot" up for someone who hadn't been. MUCH to my surprise(and pleasure) CORP wrote back saying I HAVE TO GO, YAY ME!!!!
Here is a little series from the trip. Felt SO damn good to be on the water, really did my spirits good, and re-enforced my heart felt belief that Me+water=me in/on my element.

Some truly great shots!
I went to Keehi Marine Center this morning to secure Don's boat slip (B-7).
I called him afterwards and he asked me if I got a gate key?
What for? It's just filled with water right now! We both laughed...
Life is either an adventure... or you're not doing it right!!!
