Re: Rail Transit
City Council leaders quash HART forensic audit
HART has no tip hotline. No fraud policy. No internal audit function. And now, no council-ordered investigation.
What is there to mitigate the risk of fraud, waste and abuse with respect to our $9.2 billion boondoggle? https://www.staradvertiser.com/2020/...aetrh4bJT9VO-c

Cross roads
These crossings bears to ask what possible hoodwinking dealings were/are ongoing in PUBLIC Transportation. It’s also raises more questions about the continuing HART federal criminal investigation involving Honolulu rail and widens the scope of perhaps more bad actors involved across the nation. At the least, it bears a review of the possible track of intent of misusing federal dollars in cities and positions cohorts, into these unsuspecting cities, to be in the crosshairs, guiding each other on the tracks of misuse of Federal Transportation dollars. Overall the history of these buyouts and mismanagement of projects has been costly, demands immediate attention and action against duping and defrauding taxpayers. At least should create a red flag and a deep area of concern of the use of tax payers money .. or maybe I am wrong and perhaps your pockets are deep and you can afford to pay for these so called experts mistakes, rising costs, delays and no relief to increasing traffic congestion time and times again.. Daily Ridership Would Drop By Thousands If Rail Line Ends At Civic Center. An average of 119,600 people were originally expected to board the trains each weekday, but that will drop to 84,000 daily riders with the shorter route https://www.civilbeat.org/2022/05/da...-civic-center/
