Yah...I don't get it either and I'm seeing it more and more. Why not just wear a strapless bra? I just thought it was poor fashion sense then I see women my age doing the same thing. I think they musta got dressed without their glasses on!

Not all of us can wear a strapless bra...in fact I don't even know one girl who can!

I saw something about a new fad using some kind of decorated/bejewed/glitzy bra straps.

I have yet to see such a thing! Doesn't mean they don't exist. Just means they aren't, as yet, worn in my office during casting sessions. That's where I usually see the newest fad!

Yes, it definitely depends on the shape and size of the 'body'. The ladies I've seen with exposed bra straps could easily switch to strapless. Not true for me, however!

As foa the bejeweled bras ~ moa easy make um ourselves. Just get our broken pieces of jewlrey and Super Glue. Wala ~ one of kine each time!

--Guess jeans and acid-wash jeans
--Pegged jeans with thick ankle socks showing beneath
--Oversize sweaters
--Stirrup Pants
--Sideways ponytails
--Big hair scrunchies
--Hair painstakingly put in pieces through a curling iron and then hairsprayed into a big poofy mass
--Lots of neon colors
--Shoulder pads in silk shirts
--“Jellies”
--Treetorns
--Keds
--High Top sneakers

I remember my sister and I sitting down with the Vanilla Ice tape cassette and memorizing all the words to "Ice Ice Baby" so we chant it with all the other kids on the school bus.

I generally figure whatever I'm wearing today has been "out of fashion" for about a decade (but will come back "in" ten years from now -though I will have moved on to something else by then.)

Interesting! Seems like a good idea but don't know if it translates as aesthetically interesting in real life. I'll keep an eye out for 'em.
