Questions with answers:

Answer 1) I have seen numerous websites online with diffrent estimates to this question. Which one of the sites has the definitive answer? It appears, when one factors in our use of rice in the production of beer and pet food, the "average" American "consumes" 25 lbs.

But the question is how much do we "eat"? According to the site below, we eat 7 KG, or roughly 15.4 lbs. So that's my answer. 15.4 pounds.

This is one site that uses the 25 lb. estimate on "consumption" ( of which 4 lbs. is earmarked for beer production) http://www.rice.ws/



Q2) What country often calls rice grains "little buddhas" to encourage their children to eat rice?

Answer 2): Japan

Q3) Who is the largest exporter of rice in the world?

Answer 3): Thailand.

which is: 25LBS.

& also #2 & 3 are both correct.

And "Da Rolling Eye", missed it by 1 number for #1 question.

But....

for both # 2 & 3, both of you are correct!!.

Since Surfingfarmboy gave out the first answer correct (25LBS), & you, Da rolling eye, near the answer which you said "24 LBS.", I'll let you pass with that one.

And Surfingfarmboy got all correct but preceded to a different answer wich is: "15.4LBS" which is wrong.
