Today was a bib overall day for me. I felt like wearing my bibs and boro boros today...had to connect with the farmer in me. I was sauntering along Kailua Road, walking the slow, deliberate farmer walk, recoginizable by farmers nationwide, with my day's groceries, from the KSC Times, in tote. Much to my surprise, stuck in traffic going towards Kaneohe, as I walked toward the Keolu Hills, was a little sports utility vehicle...one of those little Suzuki sports models. It's license plate read "FRMGRL"...what are the odds I'd come across this plate while being here? I just had to shaka the driver, who by all appearances did not look like a farmgirl, but nevertheless, I took no chances. Whether she was a farmgirl or not, it didn't matter, I had to connect with her. She shaka'd back. That's my excitement for today here on the Windward Side! Life is good!
