Filipino parties have the kankanen table filled with desserts and pastries...it's always hard for me to stay away!

Halo-Halo is good stuff. The localized version I'm familiar with is kinda' like a Coconut-based fruit cocktail, kept really simple. Gotta' be served ice cold.

Sticky Toffee Cake - with a big scoop of fresh whipped cream - sitting in a nice puddle of yummy sweetness sauce stuff. Definitely my favorite.

I also love Creme Brulee. When I saw "Amelie" and it was like talking about how she loved cracking the carmelized sugar on top with a spoon, I was like omgomgomg that's me that's me that's me (not to mention the thing with the beans cuz I LOVE doing that), and then I thought about it and was like, how could anyone not like that part? Well, I suppose some people may prefer playing with torch rather than the dessert.

Only thing I can think of not liking is icing made of shortening. Way way way too sweet and makes my tongue feel funny.
