Isn't there a bill that calls for the banning of having a pet chimp after that trained chimp went crazy and tear the face off a woman?

My two cents: I hate the idea of a breed ban for any type of animal. I own a pitbull, and live with two other dogs. I keep them safely at home; they have been lovingly raised and trained. I do hate irresponsible pet owners of any animal, and agree with very harsh consequences for the bad or dangerous behavior of the animal and owner.

The two times I have been bitten by a dog, both were retrievers! I am personally terrified of the Jack Russell across the street and the Chow next door... the owners let them run free, while the dogs chase children. Animal Control has done nothing. Bad owners raise bad pets. Just my opinion, so it doesn't matter.

I agree with the above. For many years I had a Staffordshire Bull and a Pit Bull and they lived in harmony.
