yahoo notepad

It's there, it's gone, it's back, and now gone again in the span of a week.
I never got a notice from yahoo about notepad being unavailable at some point which I hear they've stupidly done and I've (and millions of others) got tons of stuff I want to keep, how can it show up and disappear repeatedly? Anybody got the scoop on this mess?

Not sure what you mean by "it's gone." What's showing up in its place? Anything? A notice? A blank screen? I'm looking at it right now and it looks fine.

I don't think you're being clear here. You're saying Yahoo! never told you they're discontinuing it, but that you've heard from elsewhere (or someone) that Yahoo! _is_ discontinuing Notepad? I did a quick search (and it popped up immediately), and it seems that Notepad sometimes hides itself when you're looking at it in Yahoo! Mail. But if you go to http://notepad.yahoo.com, you should be able to see everything you need.

It sounds, by your using "show up" and "disappear," like you are talking about Yahoo! Mail. If your APPLICATIONS sub-menu in the left panel is collapsed, try clicking the little triangle next to it, and see if it shows up. If it doesn't (and I've read that it sometimes doesn't; it was a pretty easy Google search), just find your stuff at the URL up there.
