OC16 may be digital only on the Big Island and/or Maui. Those markets, I imagine, have their own public access and local interest channels on basic. I know I get OC16 on basic cable here in Mililani.

I rechecked Channel 911 (Oceanic Customer Service Channel), it says
effective May 1st OC-16 (along with a bunch of other channels) will
be only available to Digital Cable Subscribers only.

KHON-TV yesterday said it has arranged for cable channel OC16 to rebroadcast the entire two-hour "American Idol" finale for communities on O'ahu, the Big Island and Maui that experienced interruptions to cable TV service Wednesday night.

The rebroadcast will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Fox agreed to the rebroadcast, but only to the affected areas, and Oceanic is not able to show it only to Kalama Valley residents on Oahu.

For the Big Island and Maui, the "American Idol" season finale will air on analog channel 78, at 7 p.m. this Sunday.
