Thanks, LN. I never did see it when it originally aired. The station shoulda paid a bit more attention to screen direction! Picky, picky...I know!

Wow, it made it to youtube. I actually forgot when I first watched that (or when it actually was filmed) but isn't KHNL the only station that didn't change their graphics in a while?
How'd I get so white and nerdy?

I "nevah even notice"? Of course I noticed! I just didn't comment. I LOVE Triumph! Did you see that silly puppet with Linda Lingle last year? Too funny.

One of the reasons I don't go to the movies is 'cuz work gets in the way. IOW, I can't view something on the screen objectively. Wish I could...but it just doesn't happen. Regardless...screen direction sucked with the Triumph segment on KHNL.

Oooooooh...now I get it. Ya gotta write Waianae pidgin for me to understand!

The problem (for me, anyway) is when the director was cutting back and forth between the desk and Triumph, both Dash and Triumph were looking camera left, with the exception of one very brief glance camera right by Dash. If one's looking left, the other should be looking right so that it appears they're looking at each other. Otherwise, discombobulating!

                      Juggling. Fun!

But... what does it have to do with Hawaii's television industry?

Clearly, we need a general "Fun Video Clip of the Moment" thread. So there you go!

Yes it was old, but I don't recall ever seeing it posted here on HT. Plus, I thought a lot of the newbies here may not have seen it, so... that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Or sitting to it, as the case may be.

And a big Mahalo to Ryan for opening that new thread, by the way.

Well...for 35 years I got paid to call attention to that kinda detail! You can take the girl away from the script supervisor but ya can't take the script supervisor away from the girl! It was blaring to my eyes. Screen direction is an important aspect of filmmaking and something that's watched for with a critical eye; possibly not as important in TV. If you want to read some really critical posts try the thread that deals with the looks, clothes and hairstyles of our local female anchors and reporters! Screen direction pales by comparison!
