This thread is being set up for discussion of the Classic "Hawaii Five-0" TV series that ran for 12 years on CBS from 1968 to 1980 and the new "Hawaii Five-0" that is set to debut on CBS September 20.
This is the place to discuss anything that compares the two Hawaii Five-0's... the theme songs, actors, characters, settings, writing, vehicles, stories, anything. It's a compare and contrast thread because certainly comparisons between the two series will be made.
So far the only thing the shows have in common is being on the same network... CBS, and perhaps shot entirely in Hawaii, though the original did shoot in other locations such as Hong Kong.
