Just noticed late last night that the NOAA's 24-hour a day weather forecast is being broadcast on KAIM's frequency of 870 AM. Usually the NOAA is at 162 mhz something on VHF, requiring a radio that can pick up this frequency. (You can get a cheap Sony AM/FM/VHF/TV radio with cassette recorder for about $25 at Daiei.)
