KSSK FM & AM will be going to an all Christmas music format starting November 26 through the holiday season. I think they did this last year, so it must be popular enough for them to ring in the season with back to back Christmas music 24-7 again this year. KQMQ will also be playing a 24-hour block of Christmas music on the 26th according to Erika Engle's latest "Buzz".

Meanwhile KGMZ 107.9 FM is probably going to do some kind of Christmas countdown show as they are taking email votes for people's favorite holiday songs.

Any other Hawaii radio stations switching to a temporary all Christmas or even partial Christmas format?

Aloha Joe will start 200 hours of Christmas music by Hawaiian artists on Dec. 17th. He played a song during this morning's live show and it sounded pretty good.

Eeeek! He'll surely have to do a lot of repeating ... and I don't think I want to hear "Mele Kalikimaka" that many times. Good of him to wait until mid-December to start, though.
