Don't Hate Alice!

Just skimming through the Island Life section in
today's Honolulu Advertiser, the article on
"verteran rockers finding a new voice- on the air"...

And it's touching on Fil Slash's departure from 105.9
in lieu of a nationally syndicated rock show featuring
Mr. Night... god of darkness... (that's my own
discription by the way)... gotta love Alice!

We've been over this before I know- but it's funny
that the real reason is only lightly touched on...

Radio shows like Alice's are usually FREE! All the
station has to do is sign an agreement to play
some national advertising... and voila... no
expense to the owner! It's cheap radio.

I wanted to chime in on this- because Alice is a
cool dude... I'm sure he's tickled pink to add
Oahu to his string of stations carrying his show-
but taking Fil's show from him...

That was purely a managment/dollars decision.

And when it comes to Alice- we're all "not worthy"
