What would Family Guy's Brian the Dog would say?

    Re: Fake Service Animals

Honestly, even fake service dogs would be an improvement over the current situation. People walk into grocery stores with random pet dogs almost daily.

It’s like, “Hello?” You could easily A. Leave your pet in the car. If it’s hot, leave the windows open a crack. B. Tie up your pet outside the store. C. Carry your pet in a secure, enclosed and ventilated bag or case. D. Leave your pet at home!!!

The worse part is these “entitled” dog owners get all pissed off when you ask them to leave the store. They have zero respect for the other shoppers who may be allergic to dogs and to store employees who shouldn’t have to clean up dog poo on Aisle 12.

We can’t be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans.

      Re: Fake Service Animals

I'm not for dogs or any animals to be in any public building where food is served and/or sold. This would be all food stores, restaurants, fast food places, etc.

The only exception is bonafide service animals that have formal training.

No comfort animals or pets please.

      Leave them at home.
      I'm still here. Are you?

        Re: Fake Service Animals

I was just thiniking about this the other day. I'm seeing more and more "service" dogs then ever. Some breed of service dogs makes me wonder...Are they really going to provide any service, or just the owner's excuse to take them where they are not suppose to. I don't see anything official other then a piece of cloth around the dog's body.

I'm all for socialization of pets. When my dog was young, I took my dog to Target, we sat outside the entire time.

It’s sad that with the growing homeless population, rise in violent crime, corruption in law enforcement and city prosecutor’s office and horrid incompetence of our election officials — THIS is what our politicians choose to focus on.

But why tackle tough issues? Better to allow desperate eateries to incur needless health violations — so that restaurants that ban cats and dogs can make more money.

              Re: Fake Service Animals

Last week i was in Long's Kaneohe.
A dog was barking at people.

              Owner did nothing.
              Store did nothing.
They need to make a law that service animals need to have an visible ID.

That way it could be reported.
government says they can't do it because of federal law.
              BS
Pot is still against federal law, but they passed a law allowing it.

                  Re: Fake Service Animals

I always wondered why people don't want to show they have a service animal.
I would be proud to show that I have a well trained service animal.

A companion that I can depend on, to help me in time of need.

A responsible, loving, caring pet owner would welcome the red vest , as a badge on honor for their companion.

Those service animals I've seen with the red vest, are much better behaved than a majority of children, and some adults, I see walking in stores.

Is this a crime? It could be an emotionally support service animal snake.

our apt. complex owner recently waived the pet restrictions for inconsiderate assholes who claim a need for a comfort dog that barks at all hours and then make a bigger racket trying to shut it up. people suck.

I'm shocked. I'm shocked that people would get phony certificates for an emotionally support animal to make fools of other people. I believe in the honor system.
