  • Atari game console

Wal-Mart is selling the Atari Game Console for about $35. This is a re-packing of those Atari classic games and they place around 30 or so games already in the unit, you don't have to change cartridges. Then again it doesn't seem to have a slot for those old 1980's vintage cartridges.

Anyway here is a link to the console which is called the Atari Flashback 2.

    Re: Atari game console

I was over at WM and saw them. But for Centipede you really need the trackball to get some fast action going on. The joystick just doesn't do it. Same goes for Missle Command and Dig Dug. I ended up buying the PC CD-ROM and loaded up virtually all of those 70's and 80's video games on my laptop. Dig Dug is so sadistic, can you imagine Dig Dug using today's graphics and first shooter depiction?

Actually that wouldn't be such a bad idea to recreate those old arcade games with the kind of graphics we see in today's games
Life is what you make of it...so please read the instructions carefully.
