Turkey and cheese sandwiches, grapes, strawberrys and a bottle of water. Would have added a banana to the mix but they are still part way green.

I absolutely agree.
My doctor doesn't. But what he doesn't know won't hurt him.

Yesterday, a treat. Hot udon and oyako donburi combo at Jimbo's. Perfect for a cold, wet day.

Today, a can of Campbell's soup and some soda crackers.

Chicken cup of noodles and a can of Diet Pepsi. While I knew that the HCC Cafeteria is closed during the spring break, I heard that bookstore is closed too. Luckly I purchased the cup of noodles from the bookstore a couple of weeks ago and the can of soda I brought from co-workers who had a stash of soda.

Took Mel to the zoo this morning and got outta there just as that thunderstorm hit. Drove through Kaimuki and University areas looking for a place to eat lunch. Ended up at McCully Camellia for kalbi yakiniku for lunch. What a great idea. Hot kalbi and rice while we watched the lightning and listened for the extra loud thunder.

On the way home, stuck in traffic, of course, Mel yells, "MOM! I have to do number 3!" Of course I'm in the far left lane and pissed a few people off making a b-line to the Pali offramp and took her to my credit union in Pauoa. Good ting dey wuzn't busy an know my face, as I ran in da doah with Mel saying, "She gottah do numbah tree, NOW!" OH, numbah tree is da runz. Dey undahstood aftah I explained it all to dem.

Hmmm, I didn't know that they were in season. I suppose they taste better than them old style FORTRAN IV or COBOL programmers.

Chicken salad sandwiches made with leftover Costco roast chicken, celery, minced onion, dried cranberries and cashews mixed with mayo and some fresh lime juice on ciabatta bread from Costco. More work than I usually take to make lunch but better than nuking the frozen double cheeseburgers from McDonald's.

Loco Moco with extra gravy, from M&W Drive Inn.

(Unless my doctor is reading this, in which case I had some raw vegetables and some fresh fruit.)
