I tried to get a caesar salad at the San Francisco Salad Co. in Pioneer Plaza, but the line was too long and the ladies in front of me were taking their sweet time admiring all the different salads available (and, to be fair, they do look quite good). Bounced around in desperation and ended up at Taco Bell. Quite a fall!

It was a little too sweet for my friend but it was goooood. You could taste the guava. As we were paying our tab, the waiter told us that although it isn't on the menu yet, they also make mango empanada.

I wen eat lunch at Kitsho, in Cupertino, and ordered one of their specials called "black cod." I ordered it and yup, was butterfish. Ono !!

BTW I shop for butterfish / black cod here, but most times, no mo. Years ago, used to be relatively cheap. If you luck out and find some now, it's in Japanese grocery stores, "previously" frozen, and around $15 a pound.

Did you have it marinated in sake lees (the stuff left over from making sake)? Man, it's soooo ono when prepared that way and grilled!
