Boy, that looks good! It's kinda like "Hopping John," a southern dish. I love that stuff.

Tonight, for me, since I feel under the weather, I'm planning on having spicy Korean tofu soup. That always seems to clear up my sinuses and makes me feel good.

No sauce? Oh man that just killed it for me. I needs me some sauce. I'll stay with my sin that is the Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger (Jack in the Box) that I have once every 4-8 weeks. I try to convince myself that since I have a fruit cup instead of fries with it and an iced tea or bottled water that it's somehow more healthy.

Sauteed (in olive oil) fillet of dover sole with store bought olive tapenade, steamed green beans, leftover homemade mac salad and fresh local strawberries (some of the last of the season ), fresh local blueberries (bumper crop this year for us) and Rainier cherries (about the last of the season for these, too )

I knew I'd be working late, so I bought some Beef Stew from Cafe Diem (vietnamese on Alakea) this afternoon for dinner. Got the noodles on the side. Love Vietnamese Beef Stew. I kind of wish they'd serve it with baguette like they do in France. (I guess i could have bought my own...).

You would think, but as much as I really, really like the fried chicken there, I just about never order it when I eat out. I don't like finger-food when I'm eating out. I'm doing a lot of reading for my thesis right now, especially when I eat. So, you know. I need to eat stuff I can eat with just a fork or chopsticks in one hand. No two-handed food and no knife-and-fork food.

Steak marinated in Aloha brand mango-pineapple teriyaki marinade and sauteed zucchini. For dessert, a 12 oz white mocha made with fair trade coffee (not SBUX) at my Board meeting.
