      after following a few links i discovered that tina louise did not play in any of the sequels, but an actress 15 years younger did; judith baldwin.

        Tina Louise felt that starring in Gilligan's Island ruined her acting career. She basically disassociated herself from anything having to do with the show once it ended. Not only did she skip the 3 TV movie reunions, but she also refused to voice her Ginger Grant character in a couple of Saturday morning Gilligan's Island cartoon series.

          On "New Adventures of Gilligan's Island," Jane Webb voiced both Ginger and Mary Ann; on "Gilligan's Planet," Dawn Wells (the original Mary Ann) voiced both.

            Tina Louise was unfortunately cast as a Marilyn Monroe
            stereotype.
