No Thanksgiving over here. We had takeout pizza.

me too - pizza for my dinner. I had a full on thanksgiving lunch on tuesday - turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, gravy, canberry sauce & pumpkin pie. my boss does this every year for us and its so nice because i don't have to cook!

Mediterranean style chicken with zucchini and Dijon mustard sauce, baked sweet potatoes with olive oil and Ras el hanout Moroccan spice. More recipes from my diabetes cookbook - it is so good!!! and of course, some lovely Sauvignon Blanc wine.

Smoked Gouda cheese, red seedless grapes and sliced apples. and a Pinot Grigio wine. I've been thinking about this dinner all day and it did not disappoint!

A slice of cheese and a small cup of ice cream. Now attempting to boil a bunch of frozen Lil Smokie sausages.

Bought myself a Roaster Oven (countertop) and am using it for the first time today. I'm roasting a whole chicken stuffed with a half lemon and a whole head of garlic, seasoned with french sea salt, fresh ground pepper, herbes d`provence and juice of 1/2 lemon. I just added about half pound of fresh green beans, lemon juice and zest to roast along with the chicken. If it tastes even slightly as good as it smells, I'm gonna be a very happy camper in about an hour!
