O'Wow, li'dat!

It sad to see layoffs being performed in great companies like KGMB. I've been laid off before and I know how it feels. Even though they have servants pay and all that jazz. Once the money starts to deplete. It's harder to find another job in your standards.

I've been there and I've done that.

.. and I'm still looking for a job in my profession and it's already been 1 1/2 year now and I'm still struggling.

Hawaii news both print and tv is not what it used to be.

If you can be the cream of the crop and make some good money more power to you.

But if you are in the background positions it can be riskier.

You always have to think, "Can my job be automated one day?"

If the answer is yes, then you may have to shift jobs and get more skills that are more technical and harder to automate.

How about if Malika Dudley changes places with Larry Price? Malika does radio, and a grinning Larry Price goes in front of the camera. Larry Price looks like my dad, so I have a bias.
