And to top it all off, the half-game suspension is against Vanderbilt! Like Florida really put themselves in a disadvantageous position against the Commodores with this "suspension". Not that a half-game suspension is a penelty that truly punishes the player guilty of the infraction (crime?) committed, but I would have been more impressed with Urban Meyer's self-imposed serving of justice had it been doled out against a more worthy SEC opponent, such as LSU or 'Bama. Guess Coach Meyer ain't THAT dumb!

If Meyer, and other coaches in similar situations, won't do the right thing, it's up to league officials to step up and make sure this kind of crap is properly dealt with. They won't. Maybe the local police would if charges were filed.

U of Florida coach Meyer should change his name to Moe Howard, and the player was a victim of circumstance.

The Florida player gave himself a full game penalty instead of coach Meyer's half a game penalty. He kind of showed up his coach.
