What's pissing me off is that I blew my knee out in June and lost insurance in July so it's still all tore up and hurts like a bear with a bad tooth.

For some unknown reason my dog chewed a hole in my fleece jacket, I can sew it up but it really made me mad. I don't have to do anything but say
"WHAT IS THIS?!" and hold the item and then say "THIS is NO!!!!!" I imagine they understand as they look very guilty, I know which one it was too!:
But life will go on and I'll mend it and maybe find a patch to put over it.
They are 99% of the time good dogs with little problems after we got them
and rescued them from abuse and neglect. Hard to be mad at unconditional
love!

It's another one of these wonderful nights where I can't sleep past 4 am...it's now 5:15 am PDT and here I am, trying to get sleepy again. Then, just as the sun starts to come up, I'll fall asleep. I hate this!! Seems like it comes in spells; I'll sleep well for awhile, then go through this. It isn't getting light enough to go for my walk till about 6:45, so here I sit... Can't stay in bed or I will wake my hubby with all my tossing & turning. Then, around noon, I'll be exhausted.

Anyone out there know a good resolution to this? I can take something at night that will help me fall asleep, but, 1) I don't wanna get hooked; and 2) it's great the first few hours, but then I wake up again, just like now. Several of my friends here have had this problem, too. Guess it's middle age...

Yes, she's entering menopause. Yes, she in the medical profession. Yes she afraid she'll get 'hooked' on sleep meds. Yes she's stressed out for several reasons (I'm certain I'm at least one, maybe two!).

I feel so sorry for all you folk who wake up between midnight and 5 and have a hard time getting back to sleep! And so too for their partners....

I vote for sleep meds.

I'm pissed at the people who call in to my job everyday and yell at me for things that aren't my fault. Like today, this "lady" calls to tell me she mailed us her bill but it came back to her because she hadn't put a stamp on it. Then she got mad b/c the post office hadn't just put one on her letter for her because "I know them down there! I go there at least twice a month!" And then tells me her late payment is not her fault b/c she forgot to put the stamp on and it came back. (You could have called it in or gone online or at least called us to let us know right after you got the bill back) So I had to pretend to sympathize with her entitled self.

I'm with you. If you can't sleep, you can't sleep. And after a certain point in your life, wouldn't you rather be "hooked" on sleep meds and be rested, then live a miserable life of insomnia? And honestly, I was on Lunesta for almost 2 years and was never addicted. If it stops working, try switching to Ambien for a while, then switch back. It's your sleep: do what you gotta do. It's not narcotics.

Yep. Pissed off at NY Yanks right now. I'm boycotting NCIS:NY tonight. (Which is kind of easy since I CAN'T watch KGMB on Molokai, thanks to Raycom.)

Also pissed off at Raycom, Fink and Blangiardi. Seriously, who among the aforementioned Unholy Trinity suggest the channel swap of 9 and 5?

Our household "setter" complaining because I put the seat down BUT our 16-yr-old "pointer" didn't put it up, urinated on it, and didn't bother to wipe it up.

Ok, let's face it...the only one who has a legitimate beef in this thread is Tatt. For us even reasonably healthy souls, there's really not much we can complain about. ...except, possibly, a teen who pisses and misses the bowl then doesn't clean it up! I'm so glad I had girls!
