World Class Chili from Pike Place Market (Texas-style, over pasta, with oyster crackers, cheese, extra onions - stay back!) & Dr. Pepper (in Chris' honor.)

Adding up in the wallet, or around the waist?

Grinding lunch right now: a taco and a combo burrito with no onions.

General Tso's Chicken (or a reasonable facsimile thereof), two scoops rice, salad, lemonade - Mom's Teriyaki in Seattle's Belltown area (the neighborhood between Downtown and the Seattle Center - there's your Seattle geography lesson for today.)

Leftover pork chops and rice yesterday. Leftover spaghetti today. I figured I'd spend the money I saved on some new socks (none of my dress black socks are anywhere near black anymore!)... and found 'em on sale, 25 percent off, at Macy's! Sad, but this qualifies as a very good day.

BBQ Chicken (with southwestern sauce), mashed potatoes, cooked mix veggies and a bottle of water. $4.30 was the cost but it was a mini-plate.
