    Re: Kona Coffee?

I swear by French press, too. Love it. That's how we make it at home.

We're taking 24-ounce bags of Kauai Coffee, 100% Hawaiian coffee to family when we travel. They asked for Kona, but it was $18 at Sams' Club... the Kauai Coffee bags were $9, so why not?

(On HT recommendation, I also bought a gang of those starter plants and seeds, HI T-shirts, UH polos, and some fun pens with Hawaii stuff on them for the gang)

Sounds like the perfect way to brew the VERY EXPENSIVE Kona Coffee. At least you'd get your full money's worth out of those grinds. Since the brew is so strong, perhaps you could dilute it from 1 cup to 2.
