  • anyone have/tried MBT shoes?

i recently learned about these shoes and the idea sounds interesting but they're really pricey and i'd hate to buy a pair only to discover that they suck. some links with info about them if you're not familiar with these shoes:

i'd value someone's personal experience from here vs some article online....

    thanks.

after posting the above, i continued to do some searches and read one reviewer at the amazon site who said that one of the original owners sold his share and that the current company no longer produces good quality shoes (cheaper materials, etc) and he recommended buying RYN shoes instead; did a search on that and found an interesting article along with the RYN site. if anyone's interested:

I don't have the MBT's but I am an addict for the "FitFlops" they are miracle
workers for my back and posture and they do work your legs and butt when
you walk. I've about 5 pair now.

I haven't tried the MBTs either. I agree with Leashlaws that the Fitflops are great. I have 2 pair and mine were a little snug the first time I wore each but now they are super comfy. Bought mine at Macy's when I had discount coupons available. The Fitflops, however, are not sneakers or closed toed.

Avon has some Curves Toning Sneakers as well as Curves Toning Sandals that many people swear by. Even though I sell Avon and have sold these sneakers, I have to admit that I've never bought any (yet) because they look kind of wierd to me (as do the MBTs and the other rocker bottom shoes). The sneakers are only $49.99 and they have a money-back guarantee like all Avon products, so if you are interested in ordering a pair and trying them out, let me know or do so at my website.

Wow! I didn't realize Avon had so many different products. I saw a few that I would definitely like to purchase. Thanks for sharing that link. It's funny how we all tend to shop at dept. stores and forget about good old Avon.
