My son & I take annual Christmas pictures. I had cancer when he was 5 and again when he was 7 years old, and there were no pictures of me. I thought that my son wasn't going to remember his mom. So now it's an annual tradition to take at least one picture together. Here's a past picture:

And these were taken during our trip to Japan November '07, and became our 2007 Christmas card photo:

A woman always needs to hear things like that. I'm battling the flu. You made my day! Actually our trip to Japan was an incredible one. We went with my dad, mom, sisters and all the grandkids to visit where my dad grew up. We met relatives who thought that my son was either my husband or boyfriend. Go figure.

I love my not-so-little one.

That's true about 99% of the time. The other 1% is gonna cause me to prematurely gray. That is, unless his two older brothers beat him to it! Aaah, parenthood.

This one was taken about two years ago with my fish-eye lens, on the coast of Oregon. It was a bit cold (for July), skies were grey, but it was ocean, and my family and I had to have sand between our toes again.
