  • Cooking Mays teri burgers

I know the normal way is to grill them, but has anyone tried baking or frying them?????
I need to cook some this weekend and don't want to fire up the grill at 6:00 in the morning.

Only meat dish I steam is pork hash or lup cheong. Never even gave a thought of steaming hamburger. Some dim sum restaurants will serve a steamed beef meat ball. I tried them once, but they usually use too much corn starch and egg. Makes the meat ball kinda rubbery.

If you gotta buy a box of Mays anyway, try steaming a couple and let us know how it went.

Mays burgers are not all that great after all.
They shrink and end up oval, and not round.
I'm going to try some of the other brands.
          Any suggestions????

Had Mays teriburger for dinner last night. I put the burgers in with my rice, just before the rice was done. I like it this way cause the burgers aren`t dry and hard, versus broiling or cooking on the grill.
            bin dea-dunn dat.

I've only had one box of these things, but they were excellent: Steak-umm burgers. The product you usually see in the freezer case is their paper-thin sliced steaks, which I use to make phony Philly cheesesteaks. Only once have I seen Safeway stock the burgers, and they were on sale for about $6 so I bought a box of six. Fried, broiled, whatever, and they held their size so they'd fit on a normal-sized bun.

Anyone remember a product called "Chip steak"??????
I used to eat it all the time when I was young.
                  Can't find it anywhere.
Came with some kind of paper that you fried it on.
They were great. I've never found anything like it.
I'd really like to get some, or something that's like it.
