    Remember - it will be a 3 hour long show with lots of folks coming to celebrate and entertain.

                There's an update to tonight's show....tune in early (about 5:30pm HST), there's going to be a large group of youngsters playing 'ukulele.

                The keiki are the Iliahi Elementary School 'Ukulele Group (on at 5:30)

                Halau Hula O Ululani (visiting from Fukuoka, Japan) - Kumu hula Ululani Duncan is featured in Japan on Doko Ga TV HawaiiMania and here in Hawai'i on Doko Ga TV: JapanMania. (on from 6-7)

                PALI will feature dancers Ululani & her son Mana`o Duncan, and Masae Tabata, the halau's kumu. (on from 7-8)

                    Big show this Thursday for a friend of mine: Kenneth Makuakane is celebrating the release of his new solo CD, "The White Bathtub." Special guests include Barry Flanagan, Walt Keale, Obrian Eselu and Stephen Inglis. Join in Thursday from 6-8 p.m. HST for this free Pakele Live! concert taping and live internet broadcast, located in the Pakele Lounge at the Ala Moana Hotel (410 Atkinson Dr., Honolulu). You can also watch live online. Those in Japan can tune in too.

                      Did Ken ever recover his stolen laptop that had all his songs (etc.) on it? That happened about two years ago, as I recall.

                        I'd like to put in a plug for the 2/5 show - a couple of the folks I play music with here in Seattle are on O`ahu at present, and just played in a big kanikapila with Lanet & the Abrigo `Ohana; these are some great folks, from what I'm hearing.
