Gots lots paper towels--about 8 rolls of the good Costco ones--will that help? What else do we need?

Shua! Another BBQ Grill would help.

Yay paper towels!! Was just camping and forgot the PTs. They're a very big deal! (we were wiping hands on shirts, etc...)
        Same for plates!

I still haven't gotten the confirmation on my schedule, but I'm pretty sure I'll be there, at least in the morning. I was thinking of whipping up a pasta salad. I'll try to make it vegetarian friendly!

            Some notes:
            1) Permit for the picnic site is valid from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, even though the stated start time is 10:00 am.
            2) At the most we can setup are six 10'x10' canopies.
            3) Cannot consume alcoholic beverages in the park.

I'm out. It turns out that all the other considerations are moot, because when I mentioned them I expected to be finished with my paper by then. I won't be. I need to lock myself up for the whole weekend. Have fun and take lots of pictures!

Since there was a whole thread devoted to Hummus, I will bring that and pita chips.

Would have liked to have attended but I'm headed to the mainland for 3 weeks attending my uncle's funeral.

Awesome! Looking forward to seeing you. I don't think you'll be the only one coming in after a late Saturday night.

The great Erika Engle blessed the affiliated "Hawaii Geek Meet" with a fun write-up in today's Star-Bulletin. No question this'll be a great mix of brilliant minds.

Are dogs allowed (on leash, of course) to Magic Island?

We usually go to the Dog Park on Sundays, but maybe we could stop by after, but then of course, we'd have our little doggie, Colt, with us ...

I'm looking for info online, but so far couldn't find the answer so if anyone knows, please reply here - mahalo!
                              I'd rather be ... LOST

No dogs allowed on Magic Island, unfortunately. The only exception to this rule is the annual Hawaiian Humane Society Petwalk.
