Hey, Cokie - sounds pretty All American to me.

While Hawaii's on a roll, shall we add Barack Obama to the list?

I though the volcano was down in Kalla panna?

Re: Cokie Roberts thinks we're all furriners here

The guy is from Hawaii why wouldn't he want to come here, he has family here. In fact if he becomes Prez, he'll probably make more visits/stops here than any other President.

Now if John McCain vacationed here while running for President do you think people would scratch their heads and question it? I suppose he could have said he was returning to the place where he met his second wife, that it's a special place for them. Who knows maybe the McCain's have a home here and we don't know about it, come to think of it maybe they don't know about it either.

That's right, here's where McCain began his extra-marital affair with the woman who became his second wife. They honeymooned at the Royal. Sweet memories!

Hey, could there be an Obama Presidential Library here?

Oh, sure. Paint a big target on Hawaii for terrorists coming from Asia.

Pretty easy to get in. Crowbar, hammer, police look the other way.
