  • Aloha from Duluth Minnesota

Aloha, I'm oldiebuff. I'm originally from Honolulu Hawai`i, I currently reside in Duluth Minnesota (dubbed the coldest city in the United States). I go to school at the University of Wisconsin-Superior (the opposite end of Lake Superior), I am a Junior majoring in Political Science and East Asian Studies. I am heavily interested in "old time" news stuff from the islands because I always thought it was super cool. My role models are Joe Moore, Tim Tindall, Tina Shelton, and Barbara Tanabe. The 1980's newscasts were the most memorable of mine. So if you see me asking about "old" stuff, it's not I'm arrogant, I'm just really into the whole nostalgia thing. Drop me a line, whatevers. Peace out!

Oh and I do plan to move back home someday.

I don't know much about the MSU in Mankato, I've only visited that school once, I hear there is a lot of minorities at that school.

Welcome aboard, if your a Junior in college I'm somewhat surprised you remember Tindall and Tanabe as it seems they have been gone for so many years. But as you might know I'm a old school tv news junkie so I am greatly into the past as well.
