I went to KFC last night with my coupon....the chicken was pretty good, they gave a breast and wing as the pieces....there were 30-40 people inside the restaurant and just about everyone had a coupon in their hand. It was crazy!!!! but everyone took it in stride.

McD's national advertising has recently been promoting their McCafe specialty coffee beverages (lattes, cappucinos, mochas, etc.) as being priced lower than other comparable coffee places.

The lower price point message appears to be especially targeted at Starbucks' customer base.

Wonder if the additional $1.00 off locally will give them a boost -- at least through June 1st?

Zippy's Regular Saimin Coupon - Exp. 05/28/09

Just in time for Summer, Zippy’s comes out with a Saimin coupon.

But even though the weather is hot, humid & sticky…
I know that some of you diehards will STILL eat saimin, no matter what, haha.

The coupon is good for $1.75 Regular Saimin at the Fast Food Counter.
That’s almost $1.00 off, because the usual price at the Fast Food Counter is $2.60 for Regular Saimin.
If you eat in the Restaurant, the coupon price for Regular Saimin would be $2.75 (Not sure what the usual menu price is for Dine-in).

A couple of months ago, my husband and I went to Zippy's (Maui) and presented a coupon... I think it was 20% off the meal, but I could be wrong. Anyway, the clerk said she couldn't accept it because it was a 'copy'. I said, no, it's an original, it's just that it was printed on a black and white printer. She said she had to ask her manager. She came back and said the coupon was denied.

Needless to say, we were bummed. What's the deal with color coupons? I could have printed out a hundred color coupons, or printed one color and made a hundred color copies on the same machine... and they would have accepted it. But, one B&W original coupon is not OK.

Zippy's is aggressively running a coupon campaign on Facebook. In the disclaimer copy, there's no specifics on its validation either by location or how it's printed (color or black and white). I redeemed one of their online coupons printed in black and white at the Iwilei (Nimitz) Zippy's location, and they accepted it without question.

Hello Maui Zippy's. Otherwise, there's plenty other restaurants on the island to take your business... like Sam Sato's!
