Is the Waikele Comp USA going to stay in busines or are they going to consolidate to this new location? I haven't been out there in ages. I assume the Honolulu Comp USA have all the same stuff.

I'm pretty sure they're going to close the Waikele store. I went there recently and it was a mess. Even the A/C wasn't working!

They're definitely closing the Waikele location. They're referring to the new Pearl City store as a 'relocated' store. I'm guessing the Pearl City location, while in the thick of things as far as traffic congestion goes, will be better for them than where they were in Waikele, which was kind of tucked to the side and concealed below street level.

The official grand opening at Pearl City is today at 8 a.m.

Wasn't the Pearl city location supposed to have a "good guys"? And why didn't they put the store on the first floor?

Yep, I saw the advertising for the grand opening in yesterday's paper. So Waikele is pau. I remember when that was the first Computer City store before the chain was sold to Comp USA.
