I'm surprised the folks at the garage didn't close the opening before instructing the car to pull up. Most oil change places with the basement and opening have a metal grate that opens and closes the slot.

I created a little videoblog entry of the Opening Day hootenanny at the State Capitol today. (YouTube link, if you must.) I was prowling around checking out all the food spreads, so I missed most of the fireworks in the House. But, not surprisingly, the halls of government were crowded with lobbyists, activists, and members of the public in search of a free lunch.

For fun, see if you can identify all the lawmakers and politicians I happened to catch on video. Ed Case, Will Espero, Karl Rhoads, and Carol Fukunaga are some of the ones I recognized, but I confess to not being as familiar with the faces of our lawmakers.

This video is a surprisingly entertaining clip from the Fox sitcom "Malcolm in the Middle", where a simple tap of the door, fueled by downright bitchiness, devolves into a full on demolition derby between one woman in an old Tempo and another in a Mustang, all while stunned bystanders look on in amazement. The comically joyous Christmas music in the soundtrack is just the icing on the cake.

and typically when playing slack key there's three primary chords repeated over and over again...would work, but I think I'd wire up those cheap tiki's eyes and make them light up for each chord picked.
