Thanks for the reminder on that one. Early 1980s, I played keyboard in a band that did this song; I learned the synth solo note-for-note. And totally screwed it up on the one gig that we recorded (which may also explain why no one has the tape but me). The band consisted of a bunch of folkie musician friends of my older brother - and we only did rock+roll numbers. Called ourselves "Da Fabulous Spleenz." We sucked, but we had fun.

Popcorn by Hot Butter (Seems to have become a popular Techno song)

Joy- Apollo 100 (Sped up Bach - Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring)

Most anything from Toto's first album:
      Hold the Line
      Girl Goodbye
      I'll Supply the Love

Shaddap You Face - Joe Dolce
          Sugar Daddy - Patsy Gallant
          Dancin' Man - Q
Play That Funky Music [radio edit] - Wild Cherry (how many people remember the version that deleted all the references to "white boy?")
Jesus is Just Alright - Byrds (Doobie Brother's version gets a lot of airplay, but this was the song's first release.)
Tired Of Toein' The Line - Rocky Burnette
          How Come - Ronnie Lane
Living In A Fantasy - Leo Sayer
Marty Feldman Eyes - Bruce "Baby Man" Baum
Do The Donkey Kong - Buckner & Garcia
Ca Plane Pour Moi - Plastic Bertrand
Ebony & Ivory - Paul McCartney (yes, there was a 45 of this song w/o Stevie Wonder's vocals.)
Silver And Black Attack - 1986 Raiders football team (hopping on the bandwagon of the Bears' Super Bowl Shuffle from the season before. But the Raiders couldn't back the hype, missing the playoffs that year.)
