Sounds possible.... let me see what I can find around here that will thrive there.

What is your summer and winter climate like?

Look into it. I wanted to send some seeds from England to Honolulu but was told by the Ministry of Agriculture that this was not allowed.

Nice and mild, only snows once a year in February. We even get banana, but the fruit never ripens. Ginger from the store blooms.

Got Manoa lettuce or blight resistant tomatoes?

          We will check it out.

What you have in trade?? Chateau Neuf-de-Pape grape seeds???
          (kidding)

I'll see what I can round up. We have a SUPER Lemon tree!
          Tropical Ginger won't grow there....
          We will figure something.

The ginger DOES grow here. Both the one I brought back from Hawaii a zillion years ago and the one I buy from the store.

I have mache, oseille, frisée, poivron long des Landes, piment d'Espelette, French National radishes, and potimarron.

Kaonohi, as you know when we met, I lived in Susies part of Europe for many years and I am familiar with all the things she says. They will thrive in Hawaii and it looks as if you can get some good deals.
Plenty of water will be needed in Hawaii

ps. can you please send me a Kona coffee plant ?

Hey, Barry...would you like to trade seeds, too? Maybe some butterbeans or runnerbeans or parsnips or especially horseradish?

This is flowering ginger, not culinary.... I'll send some seedlings.
Barry, I'll collect some Kona Coffee seeds for you.
Give me time. life has been busy lately,

remind me when your snow melts (tee hee), if I haven't sent them already.
