I've reconsidered. I'm going to go with "Bron-Yr-Aur" by Led Zepplin.

My brother used that song to teach me the concept of open tuning on a guitar when I was a kid; it's been my favorite Zep ever since.

If I had my way, I'd have the soundtrack to Les Miserables in the CD player. There were quite a few death scenes in that musical, but the one I'd like to go out on is the finale (when Jean Valjean is escorted to heaven):
