Hard to say without knowning what kind of help the State of Hawaii plans to do with Aloha Airlines.
I guess it would be okay if the state provided some kind of assistance to the employees who lost their job because this?
Would it be okay if the State of Hawaii took a couple of 737 and some employees to run it's own jet service for offical state business use, sort like Air Force One and call it Hawaii Jet One?
Give them some cash to let them run for another month or two? A year? A loan?
Government bailouts have been known to work, for the long-term benefit of the nation, as with Chrysler in the eighties. I don't think Aloha is as vital to Hawaii as Chrysler was to the country, but if others do, I guess I can live with it. I voted "I don't care."
