    Re: Cockroaches?

    Thanks, Sue & Kimo.
If I could've caught the albino roach, I was going to name it either Johnny or Edgar.
(I know Kimo will get that one; not sure if Sue will...)

Saw a scorpion on my bed at the Manale Bay Hotel on Lanai a couple years ago, I had an employee remove it and they did with a towel they were very careful as they did not want to get stung.

only the mind warping effects of decades of degenerate rock music would enlighten the mind to J&E Dubyuh.

I think those aren't really albino roaches but roaches that are molting or that have just shed their exoskeletons.

                    Re: Cockroaches?

A quick google seems to confirm that the albino roaches are molting regular roaches and the color will go back to normal a while after molting

Okay. To avoid 'thread drift' I started a new thread called "Albino Rock!" in The Jukebox section at http://www.hawaiithreads.com/showthr...2628#post62628
Once you've looked at it, Tutu, let us know there if you know who we're talking about now. And you'll get a kick out of the photos, too.

A friend of mine was not so pleasantly surprised by a giant roach who decided to join her in the shower HEEHEEE. And I killed quite a few bugs in my hotel room..even the housekeeper didn't want to go near them.

cockroaches occasionally, no scorpions, it would be highly unlikely that you would see a scorpion in that area, but just get used to the cockroaches.
