        Black Rose was:

        Rick - guitar
        garred - guitar
        Allen - singer
        T-Bone - drums
        Weylen - Bass

I found an old pic of them - if you want I could scan it and post it later ...

I assume this is not the same "Black Rose" band that sometimes Cher would use during her solo career during the early 80's.

Min now owns Mall Cafe and wanted my band to play there. She wanted to start to have rock bands again but I passed on the offer. Min is one crazy Korean. She's not afraid of no one and will tell anyone off. If you remember Min moved C-5 to Sand Island Access Rd. between Dancers and Sand Island R & B. One day C-5 burned down and that was the last of C-5.

Dunes turned into Little Orphan Annies and then Gussie Lamours. Gussie's closed a few years ago to make way for a used car lot.

Prospect Point is now called Kathy's Place where in the middle of the parking lot get the propane tank. The owners of Kathy's Place is Thai and they still have live music. We played there about a month ago.

The Swing Club on Hotel St. was fun, but it was a great jazz club long long ago.

Much more recently, The Fox and Hound at the Discovery Bay's street level spot across from the Ilikai was one of the very last rock clubs, w/good drink deals.

The Sugar Bar out here in Waialua was the best on the N. shore in the 90s.

Sadly The Jazz Cellar closed it's doors on December 31th, 2007. Heine Fountain sold the club. I was invited by Heine for the Dec. 30th Employee Night invitation only party at the Jazz Cellar. It was good to see the old employees of the Jazz Cellar and of course the musicians that played there. My buddy Les Among of Steepcliff played that night since they opened playing at the Jazz Cellar they closed playing at the Jazz cellar.

If want to see Min again she's at Mall Cafe on Bethel St. She wants to turn it to a rock club again and called me and my buddy Brian of Broken Glass to play there. After checking the joint out I decided to pass on the offer.

Behind the Eagle Cafe on Nimitz Hwy. used to be a club/room that had years of great rock shows, but can't remember the name. Reminded me of the infamous Pink's/Garage.
