My Synopsis of 3/07/06 episode: 8 Women Sound off

01 Paris Bennet 7/10 Good Vocals, Beat was too slow
02 Lisa Tucker 10/10 Strong Vocals
03 Melissa McGhee 8/10 t'was OK
04 Kinnik Sky 7/10 Was too way off....the band was off
05 Katherine McPhee 8/10 A bit irritating on the highs
06 Ayla Brown 7/10 She dropped it
07 Mandisa 10/10 She got the groove!
08 Kellie Pickler 8/10 Vocals were OK

My favorites tonight were Mandisa, Melissa and Kellie. I think Ayla and Kinnik will be voted off. Paris looked good tonight with her new hairdo.

I feel that the guys are waaaaaaaaay better this season than the girls. I usually like Ayla but she was not a strong performer last night. I think Mandisa and Paris remain my absolute faves of the girls.

Guys - I just love Chris, Elliot and Taylor. Taylor makes me laugh and I love his voice. Oooh yeah, I must add Ace... just because. *swoons*

My favorites tonight were Mandisa, Melissa and Kellie. I think Ayla and Kinnik will be voted off. Paris looked good tonight with her new hairdo.

The personality and cute factors definitely go to Paris. If she finds her appropriate song groove hopefully she'll make it into the top 3. Mandisa is unbelievable. Based on talent, alone, I think she should win.

I don't believe for a moment that the winner is the viewer's choice so, with that in mind, my guess is that a male will win this year...based on females winning the past 2 seasons. And, nope, I don't have any inside information!

I can't wait to hear the guys tonight. I love Taylor's voice and his personality. I heard some cuts from a CD of his and loved them too! He's just so unique.
Ace...loved him the first few weeks but not so much last week...but he's great "eye candy".

03 Kevin Covais 8/10 Boring (Chicken Little Clone!)

Tonights episode was not exciting for some reason. Last night was better.
Am I dreaming or is level of the vocals soft on some contestants compared to
the level of the music? Only Bucky was strong.
Paula is still drooling.....
I think all the girls will vote for Ace. Takes guts to do a MJ song, MJ's Vocal range is wide.

Taylor Hicks was great tonight...again! I also liked Bucky alot tonight...he's really growing on me. I wasn't too thrilled with Ace's song choice but he's still nice to look at. I think Will and Kevin need to pack their bags.

I have to say that I'm disappointed with two of the people leaving tonight. The other two I figured would be gone.

Stevie Wonder on AM. IDOL 3/14 & 3/15 !!

NOW THAT IS A REAL AMERICAN IDOL!!! One of the greatest songwriters and performers of all time. Can't wait to watch the show. All the contestants will be singing SW songs to get to the next level. 7pm on Channel 2 (#3 for you cable people)

They really need to fire the audio engineer. The vocal settings
were terrible even with headphones. All the vocals were dwarfed by the music. Are we suppose to judge the Music or Vocals?
