Wow, Sudoku-san, sounds great, from both food and cost perspectives.

I've seen it many times but have not popped in. It seems to me I read other raves about the fried chicken ... perhaps in these threads? ...

Maybe we'll go on one of those post-pay-day nites when I don't feel like cooking.

A big honkin' salad, right here at home, as I sort through clothes to donate. Salad because I'm no longer the size I was, which is why I'm getting rid of all these clothes!

I found a Hawaiian fast food restaurant here in the South Bay. I've never had this in Hawaii, but today I had a loco moco. I also saw they had spam musubi. I don't think that was in Hawaii when I was there. It seems to be the flagship food today, but I really don't remember eating it as a kid.

I guess where my office is (Torrance) there is a big island population. In the Valley, there isn't much, but here there seems to be Hawaiian food on every corner.

Though I haven't had lunch yet (pretty soon, though)...I just ordered a chicken katsu curry and spring rolls from Hokkaido Ramen. I have to have my Hokkaido Ramen fix at least once a week.

The thai buffet at Sweet Basil on Maunakea St. Lots of seafood sprinkled across the day's items. I haven't eaten out downtown for weeks, so it was a treat.

Loco Moco with extra gravy, from M&W Drive Inn.

(Unless my doctor is reading this, in which case I had some raw vegetables and some fresh fruit.)

Good for you, Helen - I saw the Dew was popping up a bit more often recently (at breakfast? Okay, that's too hard-core for me...)
