  • What's for lunch - Chapter 8

Turkey and cheese sandwiches, grapes, strawberrys and a bottle of water. Would have added a banana to the mix but they are still part way green.

Yesterday, a treat. Hot udon and oyako donburi combo at Jimbo's. Perfect for a cold, wet day.

Today, a can of Campbell's soup and some soda crackers.

Oh thank god, helen - we thought we had lost you! Welcome back to the dark (well, not really dark - more of a greenish-yellow) side.

The Loco Moco was from M&W Drive In on Kam Highway in Kaneohe. Little green shack just east of Kahuhipa, mauka side of Kam.

                      I absolutely agree.

Yesterday, Duck Noodle from Helen's kitchen. Yum!

Today, probably Pho from 99 Ranch food court.

It's been such great soup weather lately.

So true! Soup isn't something I normally choose to eat. I've eaten more of it the past 6 weeks than the past 6 years!

One of our regular HT members just added this link -- http://www.paperplatehawaii.com/ -- to their signature line. Sounds like a new business, and when they're ready, I'll be anxious to try their "homestyle Meatloaf Loco Moco"! The rest of their menu looks great, too.

(And yes, Erika, I'll have it with extra gravy. )
