Former Honolulu Magazine editor John Heckathorn dies
My condolences to the Heckathorn ohana.
The last opportunity I had to hear John speak was at a social media seminar last year at Dave & Busters (where I also met Ryan), and you could tell Mr. Heckathorn was really into the whole social media movement, with a passion for sharing his knowledge with everyone in attendance. What a great man who contributed so much to journalism in Hawaii.
