http://www.superman808.com. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepards the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper, and the finder of lost children. And I shall strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison my brothers, and you will know my name is the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

So, I'll toss out the first topic discussion on recent guests, specifically Frank B. Shaner. The dude ROCKED with his comedic style. He had everyone in the crowd laughing and for the time we had him on stage, time flew by.

I don't tune into radio that much, and it was certainly a treat to have him as a guest. He did a little falsetto, danced a jig, and hammed it up with "The Abrigo Ohana"...a family of kids that performed "Ahulili". The youngest is 3 and he picked on a tub bass (gallon bucket with bow)...that was cool, and I thought of the Beverly Hillbillies. Ha!

Yeah...I can give you a hug...but when you hug me back, don't feel around...cuz that would be so wrong.

Wow! Now I know what Captain Kirk feels like when he's teleported somewhere else...or when on Hawaii 5-0 you can be driving Ewa on Kalakaua then take a right and end up in Waimanalo!

Ha! Well, Captain Kirk is one of my role models and especially when he gets the chicks.

Hopefully, the linkage I posted above doesn't get anyone lost...

I suppose you want a hug too?

I worked with Frank and Tiny back in 83 on KIKI AM 83. Frank was one guy that just never shut down. Off mic he was even more colorful One day during his afternoon gig he had a girl who was trying to tell Shaner how to pronounce Weber Grills. As she rattled on he was preparing for the next hour on the radio so he basically told her to take over while he looked for music carts.

So to hear he hasn't changed after all these years tells me the media hasn't jaded him very much and Frank is still Frank!

Somewhere in Frank's vault, I have to ask him about his "Aunty Momilani" audio/cd ...i think that's what it was called. I'll definitely get him to come back for another taping. Oh yeah 5/1<<<

So what exactly is the theme for Night Time? Is it more people in the entertainment business?

Oh and one criticism...I notice Andy likes to talk to Richard Natto...a lot. To the first time viewer it was like the Andy and Richard show.

Other than that it's nice to see Andy Bumatai back in Waikiki where he shined back in the 80's doing live gigs.

To answer your first item...it's more of people of interest than in Entertainment. Primarily it's talk and I do my best to get someone that has something worthy to say and can toss the verbal ball back and forth. It can be Joe Blow, or Neil Abercrombie...somewhere along that line.

As for entertainer's, that is secondary. However, it does spice up the show. My parameters are 2-3 panel guests, and no more than 3 entertainers per taping day. Sometimes I exceed the guide in entertainers...but absolutely no more than 5...that's equates to 1 per show.

Regarding Andy/Richard...can't escape that, the side banter with RN works at least as a security net in case jokes flail or fail fatally. Say that 10x fast. Ha!

Recently and in the past few weeks, the monologue has been shaping up, and Andy writes his own material. He does have some winners in the lot, depends on they time of day he writes it and the moon's alignment.

OK CW...I'm off to my Friday night beer run with my sweetie to Gordon Biersch....808 is in the house and I'll catch up with Sunway too.

Are you talking about the "Adventures of Leimomi" disc from 1997? I've got that one, and it's quite a hoot.

I really enjoyed your photo with his "Am I Fired Yet?" t-shirt.

Yeah...at least I got 1/2 of it right...ha! As for the T-shirt, Frank made it a point to prominently display that shirt. Time flew by and he had way more to say.
