Listen to BB Shawn's recording of "E Ku`ulei." It was recorded at a studio built in a private home in the quiet neighborhood of Kahala, and the song clearly includes the local cricket.

Listen also to M.S.'s "The Cricket" (from "Fresh Aire III") - the chirp of a cricket provides a rhythm track for the entire song.
