  • Psychologist Reccomendation?

Not sure if this is the place to post this, but I figure its about health. So anyways, I am in the need of looking for a psychologist. One who is interested and wont just refer me to a psy doc that will just throw meds at me. I believe I dont need meds and dont want meds. My psychologist doesnt believe I need them either.

Id say my diagnosis but Im too lazy to look for my papers right now. I know it has to do with depression most definately, since I was 8 and borderline personality disorder. Please dont think im psycho because I know for a fact that I am not.

I want a doc whos very interested, very friendly, will take the time to talk and is very nice. Not threatening and just talking to me because its their job, but wants to help me. Is interested in what I have to say, will take the initiative to help me out, be there as someone outside of the box that will look in. Make me feel really comfortable, and thats very important. Help me close the changed 'bad' parts of me and bring back the person I used to be.

Getting married and having a child can change you but I dont like this change. I always denied that there was something wrong with me. But I am happy I finally took the steps to see a psychologist. Although I waited too late to see someone, husband is getting out of the military and were going back home to oahu. I told the doc I want to take her with me and stuff her in my suitcase but I cant.

I dont know when Id get medical, so im also looking for docs that do the 'sliding scale' options, like you pay what you get paid by at your job. And if you dont have a job, it might be free..

preferably female... can anyone suggest a place or doc?? would like it to be on the west side of oahu and/or town side.

    thanks

Working...
